Lauren’s Institute For Education is dedicated to providing the very best care to our families. We believe in order to do this we need to offer as many services as we can to meet everyone’s individual needs.
Effective this Spring we will be saying goodbye to some of our existing programs while saying hello to some very exciting new programs.
Effective this month we will be saying goodbye to our Peer Development Program. In hopes of continuing to offer a habilitative program which focuses on the social aspects of our children’s needs we will be now offering several new afterschool programs. One of the groups we will be offering will be for those children ages 3-5, Monday through Friday from 1-4. If you are interested in a group program for your child you may want to speak to your support coordinator about Day Treatment and Training-Afterschool services. If your child qualifies and you would like to sign them up for our program please contact Ms. Kelli at the front desk.
Effective March 4th we will no longer be offering in-center habilitation. We will continue to offer community habilitation. We are also very excited to announce the opening of our long awaited Community Resource Center. This will be located in our original building, suite 109. Providers will have the ability to create materials and programs for their children, they will have opportunities to train with our team on how to implement programming, we will also have several areas set up for sensory integration and motor development. We are very excited to branch out to our many wonderful community providers and provide them with the same quality of materials, training and oversight as our families in center had come accustomed to receiving. We hope to begin the program in March.
For those families that enjoyed the clinical setting for the social aspect, we are very excited to now be offering a school age afterschool program that is habilitative in nature yet primarily focuses on the social aspect of our children’s needs. This program will run Monday through Thursday from 4-6. . If you are interested in a group program for your child you may want to speak to your support coordinator about Day Treatment and Training-Afterschool services. If your child qualifies and you would like to sign them up for our program please contact Ms. Kelli at the front desk. We hope to begin the program in March and are currently taking names for our waitlist.
In addition to the school age program we have a Pre-teen and Teen program that meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-6. This is also a Day Treatment and Training-Afterschool program therefore once again please speak with your support coordinator and then contact Ms. Kelli at the front desk.
Coming in March you will begin to see information on this year’s summer program, this will not be a Habilitation program like in summers past but a new Day Treatment and Training Program service specifically known as DTS. This is a program that is habilitative in nature yet runs in a group setting. Please talk to your support coordinator about this service and should your child qualify and you would like to get them on our waitlist please contact Ms. Kelli at the front desk.
We believe now more than ever in our collaborative approach to treatment and will continue to strive through therapies, habilitation, day treatment and training services afterschool and summer programming to meet your child’s individual needs while also helping them reach their maximum potential.
As always, Thank you for allowing us to share in your child’s journey! We are honored to serve them.
