L.I.F.E.’s Community Resource Center

We are proud to announce the opening of a Community Resource Center at L.I.F.E. All community providers are welcome to use the resource area to develop their client’s skills and facilitate generalization across environments. Providers will also be able to sign-out materials that may benefit their clients program. In addition, the Community Resource Center will house a sensory room, a pretend play area and an arts & crafts + a wet/dry sensory area.

At this time, we are asking for art and sensory supply donations from our client families. The following are a list of supplies needed: glue – bottles and sticks, scissors, construction paper, finger paint, water color paint, crayons, markers, colored pencils, felt squares, shaped sponges, corn syrup, paper plates, string, ribbon, glitter, shaving cream, Play-Doh/Model Magic, Flarp, Floam, and Silly String. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Community Providers – the resource area will be open from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday. If you would like more information about the resource area or would like a tour, please contact Meaghan Travillion at meaghant@laurensinstitute.org
