Hours Of Operation

HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Department’s hours may vary.

THE CENTER IS CLOSED ON THESE HOLIDAYS

  • Martin Luther King Day
  • President’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Black Friday
  • Two week closure over Christmas & New Years

If one of the above holidays falls on Saturday, it generally is observed on the preceding Friday. If a holiday falls on Sunday, it generally is observed on the following Monday. On the occasion the center closes for any other reasons you will be provided with an appropriate amount of notice.

DROP OFF/PICK UP

Visitors
All Visitors must enter through the front lobby and sign in and be given a visitors badge before entering the therapy center.

L.I.F.E. Academy
For the protection of our center, each class has a designated drop off and pick up area. Please see your teacher for specific direction. Should you wish to visit your child’s classroom at any time please enter through the front lobby, sign in obtain a visitors badge before going to your child’s classroom.

Therapy Sessions
Your child’s therapy session consists of 50 minutes of child contact, with 10 minutes for clean up and parent/caregiver consultation. Please make sure you are here 50 minutes past your child’s session start.

This would apply for 1 hour sessions and/or multiple hour sessions.

Late Drop-Offs
If you are running late to a Therapy session, Therapists will wait at Gate A for 5 minutes. Therapists will then wait an additional 5 more minutes, wherein you can drop your client off in the front office. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the session will be cancelled.

Late Pick-Up
If a parent/caregiver is late and has not nor can be contacted, L.I.F.E. will follow the protocol below;

  • We will call the individual’s authorized emergency contact list until a contact is able to pick-up.
  • If no contacts are able to assist in picking up the individual we will call Child Protective Services and/or the local Police Department.

Therapist Cancellation
Although we request 24 hours notice from our staff members when they are calling out ill, the reality of it is there are days when we receive a call at 8:00 a.m. when our doors open. When we receive notice, L.I.F.E. staff will immediately begin calling families to cancel. We ask in the rare situations that when we are unable to get a hold of you before your scheduled appointment you would understand we tried our best and would ask you to forgive us this inconvenience.
