Lauren’s Institute For Education offers its clients and their families several different options when it comes to receiving care services that meet their individual needs. Through L.I.F.E.’s Community and Adult Services, clients of all ages can receive individualized services in our center, in their own homes, and in the general community as well. Whether we are providing respite, attendant, or habilitation services, they all can be met in various environments.
Our Community Services program provides respite, attendant, and habilitation services in the privacy and comfort of a clients’ home as well as in the general community. These services are provided on a one-on-one basis which allows a client to receive focused and results-oriented care. Our Community Providers often become an extension of our clients’ families secondary to the close relationships they are able to build with each individual.
For programming specific to the needs of our adult clients, L.I.F.E. offers an Adult Day Program. The Adult Day Program allows its older clients the opportunity to engage in purposeful activities which promote age-appropriate socialization and skill development. Programming focuses on preparing individuals to live as independently as possible and develop those skills needed to be successful in their day-to-day environments. The Adult Day Program offers its participants the chance to focus on individual goals while working in a small group setting. As a result, it allows participants the perfect learning environment.
