2026 Summer Program Details

DATES:

Monday, June 1st through Friday, July 24th

NOTE: Closed Juneteenth 6/19

TIME:

DTT summer program will run from 8:30am-2:00pm Monday-Friday.

MONTH OPTIONS:

  • June and July
  • June only
  • July only

DAY OPTIONS: (Can only choose one option)

  • Option 1: Monday-Friday
  • Option 2: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Option 3: Tuesday, Thursday

AGES: This program is intended for children ages 5-17 years old.

Once your inquiry has been submitted, please submit your child’s most recent DDD Person-Centered Service Plan AND Planning Review to: DTT@laurensaz.org. Please note that your child’s inquiry will not be reviewed until we have received a copy of their DDD Person-Centered Service Plan AND Planning Review.

*Children who currently receive an active service at LIFE do not need to provide a copy of their DDD Person-Centered Service Plan or Planning Review.

Inquiries will begin being reviewed starting March 23rd and are processed in the order they are received. Our team will reach out once your child’s inquiry has been reviewed.

In light of the considerable demand, we kindly request your understanding that if this specific schedule is imperative for your family, we can add your child to our contact list for potential placement as availability arises.

With our current staff, we can support a 1:3/4 ratio in our Summer Program. Please keep this in mind should you choose to move forward.

LIMITED OPENINGS & STAFFING

Please note that our summer program is in high demand and we have limited openings. We are doing our absolute best to accommodate as many families as possible and we are hopeful if we can hire more staff we can increase the number of openings available. If you know anyone who may be interested in a summer position please direct them to our website.

Dear L.I.F.E. Families,

As we begin rolling out the 2024 L.I.F.E. Summer D.T.S. process, I felt it important to share that we are preparing once again for a high-demand need from our community in the East Valley wishing to enroll their loved one in a summer program.

It is important to me that we can offer programming to as many families in need as possible.  It is also important to me to be able to provide this program for families, regardless of their enrollment in other L.I.F.E programs. Every child deserves the opportunity to experience our summer program.

To ensure we can offer this program to as many children as possible, we will only be offering a three-day or two-day option. Precisely a Monday/Wednesday/Friday spot or a Tuesday/Thursday spot.    If you need additional support outside of these days, we are happy to try and support you through community services.

Regardless of which spot you are offered, you can be assured your loved one will be able to experience all our programming support.   We try every summer to create programming that best supports the whole child and their peers, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. We will do the same this summer.
